What would I do with $50,000 dollars? Give back, of course! I would donate money to DMC Children’s hospital in Detroit to aid them with research on diseases and possible cures. It has always been one of my goals to help with children who fight each day for their life. I feel so strongly about Children’s Hospital because I once suffered a tragic incident that caused me to be in a life or death situation and when it didn’t look too good for me, Children’s Hospital stepped in. I understand that I am blessed for even overcoming my tragedy and I want to be able to give others a better fighting chance.

Many times, people just donate money and feel as though they have done as much as they can but I intend to donate time and really be hands on with my ventures. I want to start an organization for the children at the hospital to help with self-esteem and so they won’t always feel trapped in a hospital and labeled as “sick” children. As Disraeli says "The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but reveal to them their own." I plan to use my struggles and knowledge of the world to give back to my community. I want to show children their worth and help them to understand that their situation isn’t indicative of their future. All in all, I believe that this money will help me to empower others and prove to them that they can be successful regardless of their situation and make it through even the worst of times. As David Brinkley says, "A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him."
