To win $50,000 would be a life changing experience for my family and I. A common quote from the book of Proverbs in the Bible states, “Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. Using this quote as a guide I would first off donate more than half of the money to various associations. I would give my Church $15,000. The Church knows the people that could benefit most from this donation. Second I would donate $20,000 to a hospital. There are so many people that do not have the money to pay for their medical procedures so my donation could aid some families that would not be able to afford an operation. With the remaining $19,000 I would give $2,500 to each parent to take care of personal issues with our family. They would know how to manage the money a whole lot better than a 17 year old. With the last $10,000 dollars I would find a kid that is going to college but needs financial assistance. There are tons of great students that have to stop their studies because of a financial issue and I hate to see people with God given talent have to put their talent to rest. I know you are reading this and thinking wow would this kid really give away all his money and the answer is “Yes!” It would warm my heart to see that I could put smiles on so many people’s faces.
