What's Up Young & Free Michigan!

Today I am going to tell you how you can make your own graphic t-shirt!  You will need a few things to make it;

  • A Shirt
  • Transfer Paper (I got mine from Target)
  • A computer
  • A printer with ink in it
  • A pair of scissors
  • An Iron
  • A Flat Surface

Simply find the image you want to transfer and save it on your computer. Then open up a Word document, or Pages in my case. Size the image in a document and print it on regular paper to make sure you like it. Then, when you are ready, select mirror image and print it on the transfer paper. Cut it out and iron it onto your t-shirt! When it is cooled, peel off the transfer paper and you will have an awesome looking t-shirt! (All the detailed instructions are also in the transfer paper packet.)

I made one graphic t-shirt with a pineapple on it, and wore it out to a friends going away dinner. When I got to the restaurant, the first thing one of my friends said to me was, where did you get your shirt? Then I proudly told her I made it. Graphic tee's can be really expensive, but they are trendy and fun.

This is not just a thing for ladies, but guys you can make your own graphic tee's too!

The hardest part of the whole process was picking what image I would put on my shirt.  I got my pineapple inspiration from a fabulous, fellow Youtuber,  MyLifeAsEva.  I also googled pineapple t-shirts and they are really trending right now! Then later I made another tee with flowers on it!

You don't have to break the bank this fall shopping for, one of a kind, cool clothes. You can take the plain stuff you have in your closet right now and personalize it!  I used a white t-shirt I already had and bought a transfer paper pack of 6 for about $8 so I spent about $1.40 on this shirt!

Tag me in your graphic tee pics on social media, so I can see what awesome stuff you put on your shirts! #YoungFreeMI
