Hey Young & Free Michigan!
I can’t believe it. My first few weeks have flown by and my calendar is already booking up with events, speaking engagements, and a ton of other fun contests and happenings throughout the year!
That being said, I have a simple plan, which is: Make every single day count. I know that sounds corny, but it’s the truth. And it’s not just for work. I recently made up the 3H motto for my life: Happy, Healthy, Healing. If every decision I make, whether with my money, friendships, or even what I choose to eat (these chocolate chip cookies are bringing me happiness, btw), is not fulfilling at least one of the 3 H’s, then why am I wasting my time doing it?!
Yes, I just got all Oprah on y’all... But I’m a firm believer that we can all encourage each other to be a better version of ourselves. Therefore, my goal is not only to inspire you to be smart with your money, but to inspire you to be your best self in the most unapologetic way possible.
I’m a regular girl with high dreams and some crazy plans to reach them. I’m stretching myself way out of my comfort zone this year. I plan to meet a ton of people, have lots of fun, and go to as many events as possible… anything from college sports games to your auntie’s backyard barbecue. Sike… I just want some good free food! No but seriously, I’d love to connect with you for an event. I want Young & Free Michigan to grow into an even bigger, but close-knit community!
