Happy almost Friday Young & Free Michigan!
If you have been watching my YouTube videos, you probably have figured out by now that I love crafting and decorating. Well, I am ashamed to say that I have had an obnoxiously stained bright teal towel hung up by push pins above my kitchen sink for 6 months...true story.
The window above the sink is a weird size and all of the curtains I found were just not my style. So, I put it off until I was inspired to go to Joann Fabrics!
I bought E6000 glue, some fun fabric and already had a tension rod at home. That is right I made curtains and they look great! This was surprisingly easy and inexpensive! All I had to do was cut the fabric in half so I had two even rectangles. Then I measured the window and made a mark on the fabric where I wanted to cut them. I used the E6000 glue to finish all the edges, aka, fold the cut edges under, and glue them down.
Then, I made the final loop at the top for the rod to go through! I used wooden clothes pins to secure the fabric and let it sit overnight. The next morning I had some amazing curtains that were ready to be hung!
So, Young & Free Michigan, you can make your own curtains without sewing!
