Last week I shared part one of the summer bucket list. I listed 4 great spots for the city lovers out there. You can read that blog here. Today we are diving into nature and adding three beautiful destinations to the summer bucket list.
- Check out the cold, but crystal clear water at Michigan’s largest freshwater spring at Kitch-itt-kipi. Don’t ask me how to pronounce it, because i’m a little lost myself. I have never heard of this spot, but after seeing some awesome pictures of the clear water online, I defiantly wanted to add this site to my summer bucket List.
- If you are true tumbler, wilderness loving millennial, Isale Royale National Park has got to be on your summer bucket list. It’s surrounded by Lake Superior and is a beautiful national park for hiking, kayaking or even scuba diving!
- For a real movie experience and a step back in time, visit one of the many beautiful lighthouses around Michigan. The lighthouse and pier in Grand Haven, Michigan dates all the way back to 1838! This seems like the perfect summer trip for someone who may not be a total nature lover, but would like to explore the great outdoors a little, while being close to a big city like Grand Rapids.
This summer let’s make a decision to be Young & Free and explore the beautiful state that we are blessed to live in. Next Friday we will add three more destinations to our list to expand out cultural experiences this summer!
Keeping it Fresh, Young & free,
