In today's society, it's pretty easy to compare ourselves to others. We see how people look, what they're doing, who they're with, their jobs, houses and friends all over social media. Social media can pressure us to think a certain way and will sometimes have us comparing ourselves to others. Once we're in that state of mind, everything can and may become a "who's better" mind-game.
We may beat ourselves up over not being good enough. Over not getting that full-time job yet. Or over not going to a certain school or having certain clothes, over not being able to afford certain things. But here's the thing guys - EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. We're all in different stages of our lives. We all have different attributes and different qualities going for us. Comparing yourself to another person is like comparing apples and oranges. You will never be them and they will never be you.
Also - remember, what you see on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites are just tidbits of what's going on in a person's life. Most people don't share their poorer qualities over social media. You may be painting perfect pictures of people who aren't perfect.
Be yourself. Be the best you that you can be. Don't worry about where others are in their lives; simply wish them well and carry on with you! :)
