Memorial Weekend Shopping

It’s Memorial weekend. That means stores all over the US will be pushing big sales in hopes to break some records, and sell, sell, sell…

If you are planning on shopping this weekend, the Outlet Mall is always a good option for great deals and sales, but my phone has been blowing up with texts from a few of my favorite stores, letting me know about their sales.

Old Navy is offering up to 50% store wide.                                                                   I love shopping at Old Navy, they are always having a sale and they also give you cash back rewards! Right now I have $10 off of my next purchase of $25 or more in my wallet. I will most likely be at Old Navy tomorrow morning peaking at the sales.

This weekend Kohl’s has a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $30 or more.           Kohl’s is amazing. If you are ever looking for a gift or a nice outfit and you go straight to the mall, you have done the wrong thing. First go to Kohl’s.  They have everything and they have great sales and like Old Navy they give cash back. If you are the type of person who likes to shop, getting cash back to shop with is a BIG DEAL!

JCPenney’s has  $10 off a purchase of $25 or more or an extra 15% off of your  purchase.                                                                                                   JCPenney has really stepped up their game. I especially like going there to buy clothes for my husband.

Best Buy also has some great steals for the holiday weekend.                                My favorite deal on their site right now is the HP- Envy touch screen laptop for only $599. That’s almost $200 off!

Payless has all sandals’ 50% off!

We can’t forget the amazing deals we can get at the Salvation Army Family Store.  On Monday they will have 50% off clothing, and my family and I will probably spend about 3 hours searching through the racks finding great deals.

Even if you are not a shopper and will be going on a weekend get-a-way with family, it might be worth it to stop by a store on your way to the lake. Do some research on that big ticket item you have wanted to get, it might be on sale this weekend!

Remember that the Michigan First Branches will be closed on Monday, but we will still have team members ready for your call 24 hours a day 365 days a year! If you loose your debit card or have a question you can call us, even on the holiday! Plus our amazing Money Machines (ATM's) will still be available for deposits, withdraws and transfers!

Keeping it Fresh, Young & Free,

Ebeth
