LOW MEMORY

LOW MEMORY-  That is one of the worst notifications I could get on my phone or computer. I hate it. When this bugger pops up on my devices that means I will need to spend some serious time cleaning, sorting and exporting files. Some people use iCloud, dropbox or google drive to store their files, but if I’m being honest those tend to annoy me too. I get this notification a lot because of all the videos and photos that I am constantly uploading, editing and saving. So, what do I use? External hard drives are my saving grace. These little compact filling cabinets will save your computer from brain farts, and overloads. There are a ton of options when it comes to external hard drives; they are essentially flash drives with more memory.

If your computer seems to be acting up, check how much memory you have left. If it’s low, you might want to consider purchasing an external hard drive. You can also transfer all those selfies from your phone to your hard drive so you have more room for those future selfies.

And, just like I need to make sure my electronics are clean and ready to go, I have a responsibility as the manager of my finances to keep my accounts clean. Not clean as in wiped out, but clean as in, organized and ready to go. If I have a sudden project or assignment but my computer is full, that can cause a lot of stress for me. If an emergency comes up but my money isn’t in order, that will definitely cause even more stress for me. Just like we keep our electronics clean, as managers of our money and as successful young adults, we need to develop a habit of keeping our money in order. I know we can do it!

Do you have any tips on how to keep your electronics or accounts in order? Let me know, I’d love to hear from you.

Keeping it Fresh, Young & Free,

Ebeth
