I can’t believe it’s over. One year ago, I was a college graduate working part-time and planning to go to grad school, not sure of what was going to happen from week to week, let alone a year in the future. When I won the Young & Free Michigan Spokester job, I had no idea how much my life was about to change.
In the past year, I’ve written something like 290 blog posts about everything from Kim Kardashian to couponing to credit cards, and produced over 60 videos. Let me tell you, it’s one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. I’m so lucky I got the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic program – one that lets your creativity shine, while still focusing on the message.
Will I continue my credit union love after I “graduate?” ABSOLUTELY! I’ll be running a blog over at the Michigan First Credit Union website – I’ve been hired as their Social Media Specialist, so don’t shed too many tears, I’ll still be around! And since I’ll be part of the Overdrive team for Young & Free Michigan, I’ll be helping Austin out at some of his events.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported me during this fun, challenging, sometimes crazy, absolutely rewarding year. I hope you keep following Austin and the Young & Free Michigan program, because we have some amazing things coming!
Austin, you're going to do a supermegafoxyawesomehot job, and I can't wait to see all your shenanigans!
For the very last time,
