Finding a New Place to Rent!

Looking for a new place to live that’s NOT on campus or back at home with Mom and Dad?  Two years ago my roommates and I decided that we no longer wanted to live in university housing.  While it was extremely convenient to live on campus, we were looking for a little more privacy and a place where we could enjoy having a back yard.  Realizing that cost would  have a huge impact on where we ended up staying, we all started doing research asap.

However, I quickly realized that searching for rental homes online wasn’t as easy as I was told.  Simply Google-ing “homes for rent in Southfield” wasn’t doing the trick.  I was only finding subpar websites that offered very little information on square footage, location or price.  Not to mention, I wanted to see photos, but the only ones I could find were no bigger than a thumbnail.

That’s why today, when I ran across MoneyTalksNew.com’s top home rental websites, I had to share.  If you are looking for a place to rent by yourself or with roommates, the websites below are excellent resources!  Not only do they let you search by location, they offer interactive maps, pricing, good pictures, contact information and other essential pieces of information.  Even if you’re not currently searching, take a second to browse through these sites.  After all, it’s always fun to see what’s out on the market!
