Are you pinching pennies for the Holidays and still trying to figure out what you are going to give everyone? I have a few simple, not lame, (in my personal opinion), ideas for you. And as always get creative and don't waste your money! You can give some amazing gifts without breaking the bank. I will also suggest entering my Winter Wonder Win social media give-a-ways and when you win those, you can use them as Christmas presents! The Instagram give-a-way ends at midnight tonight.
1. Baked goods.
A plate of cookies is almost always a great gift! Yummy, fun and much appreciated.
2. Coffee mug with coffee, or tea and a peppermint stick!
Hit up your local dollar store and buy all of the supplies there! Each gift will cost you about 1.75 depending on how much stuff you put inside the mug.
3. Thrift for clothes!
I am unashamed in saying that this year I bought family members presents from thrift stores! Washed them and will be wrapping them up for them to receive on Christmas morning. This idea requires a little more hunting, but it can be worth it.
4. Personalized sign.
I made some of these myself and I love it! This idea does require some creativity and time, so if you are not into that, then don't even try this! All you need is wood, wood stain, a sanding block, tape and paint. My signs came out to about $2.75 each
5. DIY hats!
Like this video I posted a few weeks ago.
6. DIY Tee.
All you need is your computer, a printer, transfer paper, a tee and an iron. Simple as that. I wrote a blog on this about 4 months ago. I really enjoyed making these.
7. Oh Happy Day package.
This is a little more pricey, but could include 1, $5 Starbucks card, a $5 subway card, a $7 movie card and a $5 card to a restaurant like, 5 guys or Panera. The point of this gift is to give them a happy day full of free or almost free treats. The options are nearly endless.
8. Huge pack of Gum
For your friend or sibling who is always asking you for gum!
Have fun, spend wisely and don't stress out!
