It’s the most wonderful time of the year, no it’s not Christmas time yet, but we are getting close! It’s time for the yummy turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing and cranberry sauce! But why wait till Thanksgiving to enjoy these flavors? Let’s start the festivities now! As a young adult it's important for us to explore the grocery store and learn a few tricks in the kitchen too! So, every Thursday leading up to Thanksgiving I will post a blog with a recipe that is inspired by Thanksgiving flavors.
Today’s recipe is brought to us from every day moms meals, and these moms know how to cook! The recipe is an autumn sweet potato salad. You could easily make this and eat it for lunch every day for a week! This will end up saving you money if you eat out for lunch consistently.
Check out the simple recipe here.
I think this looks and sounds delicious. It's a great money saver, great cooking experience and great flavor! Do you like to cook? Send me your recipes and they might be featured on the blog!
