Who doesn't like save money? I know you do. Ever want to find a way how to save money for a vacation? Well, I'm going to give you five ways on how to do so.
1. Plan ahead-
A lot of folks always want to do something, but never plan ahead. If you want to go on a vacation with your friends, come together while you talk and take notes on where you want to go for your vacation. When I was going to New York, my family and I had to talk about how much money did we need for this New York trip. We also discussed where we were going to live and how many days do we plan on staying? All of these questions need to be answered before we were going to do anything.
2. Buy groceries-
You don't always have to go to a restaurant. Better yet, you don't have to go fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King or Taco Bell.
3. Get a discount.
Everyone has a friend, roommate, or relative that love discounts. I know my mother does. Sometimes, you don't want to buy items with the full price. If you don't, make sure you can find a discount. Most of them would say that it will be 50% or 75% off the price. I know for a fact that having a discount make you save up enough money for other things as well.
4. Have a piggy bank-
A lot of people don't necessarily keep coins when they are going to save a vacation. Dollar bills are great, but having coins will make things a whole lot better. Ever get tired of using one more dollar bill when you just need 50 cents? Well, I believe having a piggy bank will save you for the long run. When we have a dollar bill, we put it in our wallet. When we have a coin, we should put it in a piggy bank. A piggy bank doesn't just have to be for coins, it can also be for dollars as well. It might seem like a children's thing, but this is something that adult can relearn to focused on stuff that are for your needs. Do not underestimate a piggy bank.
5. Do a 52 week save challenge-
You are probably wondering what is a 52 week save challenge? It is when each week you put money on your savings account for the next 52 weeks. That's mean for week 1, you would had to put one dollar in your savings account. The second week you would have to put two dollars in your savings account. Which means that you would have three dollars in two weeks. In week 26, you have to put twenty-six dollars in you savings account. Which would give you six-hundred and eighty-nine dollars. By the end of week 52, you will have $1,378 dollars in your savings account. This is is true!
Saving money is the best!
